Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible so that we can meet your specific needs. Initial questions are often easiest asked and answered by phone or e-mail. It allows us to learn from you firsthand your expectations for the trip and general abilities in the outdoors. A phone call gives you an opportunity to establish personal contact. Please complete the registration form with your contact information. By choosing the type of hunt and desired time period you can help us schedule the best hunt for you.
Deposit & Balance of Payment:
We require a deposit of 50% of the value of the hunt 30 days after the hunt is booked. Payments may be made by check to 4 Dot Outfitters, 30 days prior to the hunt. You may pay the balance with Cash or Cashiers check at the arrival of the hunt.
Deposits are non-refundable unless reservations are canceled in writing at least 60 days prior to the hunt. We strongly encourage our guests to purchase travel, health and cancellation insurance. *Please note that the Cancellation policy will be updated due to Covid.
We do not recommend these expeditions to anyone with respiratory disorders heart trouble, or any condition that may be aggravated by altitude. As horses are physically limited in how much weight they can safely carry, we have a guest weight limit of 250 pounds on elk hunts. We can accommodate over that weight limit using ATVs and UTVs.
CPAP-Friendly Camp: We have a power bank in the sleeping area for the use of C-Paps.
We are able to offer client references and will gladly do so with the friendly understanding that this courtesy be handled with the utmost consideration and the least imposition to our past hunters.
Each participant will be required to sign a waiver releasing 4 Dot Outfitters from all risks.
Should you choose to fly, you can book flights out of Butte or Bozeman. If you are driving, let us know if you need information or directions on the best routes.
Pre & Post Trip Accommodations:
If you fly, we will pick you up at the airport, bring you to the motel in Twin Bridges, and return you at the conclusion of your hunt. Airlines are charging more for extra baggage. You can ship your gear to and from 4 Dot Outfitters for the hunt.
The guides, packers, and cooks on staff are professionals. They work hard to ensure you have an enjoyable hunt. If the quality of service you received justifies a thank you, it is customary to personally give a modest gratuity to the staff at the conclusion of the hunt.
